2012 Leagues
The Leagues at Chisago Lakes Golf Course are a great way to meet people if you are new to the course and are looking for a regular group. Additionally, the Leagues offer you a chance to compete or just play social golf with some friends. The Leagues begin play the first week in May and end the end of August.
Monday
A.M. Men's League
The league will shotgun at 8:00 FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON!!! Open play is still available as the league only shotguns on holes 9-18. The League is open to anyone with a USGA Handicap. Play is in teams with 4 players playing each week. It is a match play format with two points available for each match. Weekly prizes are given out for closest to the pin and longest putt in separate handicap divisions. Gary will begin organizing the league in early April, call Gary to sign up. Tuesday
Ladies 9 hole Social League
Shotgun 5:45 on 9 holes. We plan weekly events, you play with your friends so there is no competition, unless you want it! Come out and play with your friends, Mom, sisters, or Aunts! A great night out with the gals and some good golfing too!

All ladies who participated in the 2011 Tuesday P.M. 9 hole Social League will be receiving registration information the first part of 2012, please watch your mail. Ladies 9 hole Match Play League
Shotgun 5:45 using on 9 holes. This is a competitive league that plays individual matches each week. An established USGA handicap is needed. The cost for the league is $25 for the year. Wednesday
P.M. Men's 9 hole League
This is a competitive league starting with a 5:45 shotgun each week. The league is open to members and non-members, 18 years or older, with a USGA handicap. The league plays an 11-point match play format with some team games mixed in. The teams consist of five golfers per team. You can sign up your own team or you can sign up as an individual and be matched up with other individual golfers. Brett Bennett (651-674-4521) brett.bennett@q.com.
Thursday
A.M. 18 hole Ladies League
This year the league will shotgun at 8:30 for the entire season. Anyone with an established handicap may play (If you do not have an established handicap, we can help you obtain one by taking some scores from last year) Todd will be happy to help you in the pro shop. Sign up sheet will be in the league room in April or call the league coordinators. Come out for fun and friendly competition. We hope to see you there! Junior League
The Junior League will play on Monday’s and Wednesday’s with tee times starting at 1:30pm. The league will continue to be run by Forest Lake High School Girls golf coach Joel Hall with assistance from the Pro Shop. League will begin play on Monday, June 13th and continue every Monday and Wednesday through August 10th. The cost is $25 for the season and will include an official league hat, prizes given out each week, and a short clinic before each days play. Sign ups will be taken in the Pro Shop beginning in May.
16 Man Team
The 16 Man Team is an interclub competition with other metro area courses. Each course has eight 2 person teams playing a fourball match against a 2 person team from another golf course. The matches are played without handicap, therefore you are trying to put together your 16 best players for each competition. The matches are usually the first Sunday of each month starting in May. You play a home and away match against with the other course. The only fee involved is the green fee when you play at the opposing teams’ course. This year the 16 Man Team will be run by Jordan Hawkinson and Bob Bohrer for info contact Jordan Hawkinson at jfhawkinson@gmail.com. As always if you have questions you can call the Pro Shop.
8 Man Senior Team
The 8 Man Senior Team is a traveling, scratch (no handicap used) two man best ball, match play format. Play is in four 2 man teams with points awarded for front, back, and total. It is for men 55 and over, a home and away match is played with the winners advancing. The season starts the first Tuesday in May, and continues thru summer as long as the team continues to win. If you are interested in playing on the team a sign up sheet will be available in April in the League room. Or, you may contact Gary Erickson at ericksongm@msn.com.
